I need a solution

Hi Folks,

I have a question in relation to using DCS:SA and SCSP within the same overall environment, which I hope you can help me with, please.

I need to create a high-level design for a secured data center system which will have both remote end user devices and data center hosts (virtual/physical), where I need to provide Intrusion Detection.  Intrusion Prevention is not mandated today.

Summary:

-20 Remote Client devices (Windows)

-20 Primary Data Center Servers (2 x physical Win2012, 1 x ESXi 6.x (No NSX), 10 x Win2012 VMs)

-20 DR Data Center Servers (2 x physical Win2012, 1 x ESXi 6.x (No NSX), 10 x Win2012 VMs)

Question #1:

Does SCSP and DCS:SA integrate into the above scenario?

For example, can we share UMC?  Can SCSP agents report into DCS:SA Management?

or

Do I need distinct setups and all required components for each (DCS:SA and SCSP), and thus no interaction between.

Question #2:

As we are not using NSX, do we need to install the SVA?

It would be great to have a list of required components for each (DCS:SA and SCSP), as I have not found examples or documentation whcih describes how to do this.

Thanks in advance.
