SVA upload invalid OVA

I'm trying to deploy a SEP for VDI proof of concept for a customer and despite the dreadful documentation that comes with the trial ISO, I've managed to get the key components in place and talking to each other. 

When I try to upload the SVA OVA file that comes bundled in the ISO, with the UMC OVA and DCS application; I get an error after 2-5mins that the OVA is invalid. 

Are there some extra steps that I've missed, or has Symantec bundled an incompatible SVA OVA file?
